Longer life with Simulated Diamond Tip
With continuous use, screwdriver tips can become worn or ruined over time, reducing both their effectiveness and useful life. As an answer to this frustrating problem, STANLEY® has announced a range of FATMAX® Simulated Diamond Tip Screwdrivers, offering better bite, up to 50% longer tip life and superior performance compared to standard screwdriver models.
These innovative new tips from STANLEY® are treated with a simulated diamond coating that helps reduce potential slippage or cam-out which increases the bite into screws for easy insertion or removal – particularly in the case of screws that have been stripped or damaged.
Furthermore, the new FATMAX® Simulated Diamond Tip Screwdrivers range features +100% better torque transfer, compared to standard FATMAX® models. Designed for use in a wide range of trades, the FATMAX® Simulated Diamond Tip Screwdrivers are particularly essential for general contractors, HVAC contractors and other professionals who are likely to use the tools heavily, and/or on a daily basis.
To ensure the maximum strength and longest life, the coating used for the screwdriver tips is an industrial grade simulated diamond grit known as silicon carbide. The tools also incorporate black phosphate bars for enhanced corrosion resistance, with chrome vanadium steel to resist the possibility of bending and snapping, while an ergonomic tri-material handle design provides greater tip torque for tough screwdriving applications, and reduces hand fatigue during prolonged use. Furthermore, the handles are conveniently colour-coded, making it quick and easy to choose the correct screwdriver size for the job in hand.
