Dining alfresco heats up
As spring approaches, Tansun’s leading range of infrared heaters are once again helping bars and restaurants to increase revenue from alfresco dining. Tansun’s Rio IP is a fully weatherproof, lightweight infrared heater with a superior parabolic reflector. The heater uses a long lasting lamp and features a high quality aluminium body, available in standard colours white, black or silver with a louvered safety guard. The design is slim, attractive and compatible with Tansun’s energy saving controllers to suit varying situations.
The Rio IP has a heat coverage distribution area of approximately 10.5 square metres and is suitable for outdoor use all year round. Offering the convenience of instant heat, the heaters also offer the additional benefits of low running costs in comparison to gas or fan heaters. The Rio IP is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications in a wide range of environments, including parasols, restaurants, bars, cafes and smoking areas to name a few.
Rio Grande is a stylish and weatherproof infrared heater making it ideal for application to awnings. The heater uses shortwave infrared heat, whereby 96% of energy consumed is direct heat aimed at the area below. The Rio Grande is also suitable for a wide range of businesses, which includes awnings, alfresco dining, bars, smoking areas, hotels and more.
The Rio Grande heater is a stylish design for indoor and outdoor applications, with a heat coverage area of up to 22 square metres. The heater also includes a safety guard pre fitted and wall mounted brackets for installation. The Rio Grande is available in standard colours white, silver and black.
Both heaters are available in any RAL colour using Tansun’s bespoke colour service which allows heaters to be powder-coated in a wide range of colours. This service can be specified to align corporate branding, match awning or parasol profiles or indoor/outdoor venue colour schemes. Both Rio IP and Rio Grande are covered by Tansun’s 2 year warranty.
