LLFA Compression Tape

LLFA Compression Tape offers the UK electrical industry an alternative to the traditional resin and heat
shrink jointing solutions.

Straight and branch joints spliced with LLFA® Tape, from the smallest to the biggest cable size, underwent the European Standard BSEN 50393:2006 type testing and successfully met all the requirements to make it the first compression tape jointing solution available in the UK.

The tape itself is a highly advanced self-fusing compression tape which is non-toxic and has a long lifespan even when buried or submersed.

Unlike resin and heat shrink jointing, no combustion or heat processes are needed to create the LLFA Compression Tape joint. LLFA® Compression Tape is simply placed around the joint to create a
high-tension wrap and an insulated joint.
