The release of Impro IXP220 access control
The Impro IXP220 access control system, produced by BPY Security Systems (UK) allows installers to have variety of possibilities. The manufacturer Impro to a simple, cost-effective system that is easily installed has designed the IXP220. It can also be scaleable as up to 256 doors.
They function in isolation from the rest of the system holding the complete database. They feature of the controllers, they won't need to be connected to a PC to operate anti-passback, zone routing, mustering, fire alarm door release and other options.
All the controllers can operate via the Ethernet or RS485. Any type of reader can be connected to these controllers from standard proximity, HID, RF or biometric options. The Impro readers can be 100m away from the door controllers offering engineers flexibility when they get to site.
The new system also boasts operating speeds and flexibility. This
latter point will enable installers to buy a system to compete for installations, but then up-sell the added features in the future if they choose.
This upgrade is achieved through unlock codes, allowing more functions to be carried out such as building management, CCTV integrations, car parking management, and other examples.
