Havells Sylvania Dimmable CFLs
Havells Sylvania has launched two new CFLs that utilise innovative ballast technology to deliver not one, but two ground-breaking dimmable lighting solutions.
The Mini-Lynx Dimmable range is one of the first in the UK to provide the option of dual dimming, and features one product option that operates on standard dimmers and another on regular on / off switches. Both product types provide flicker-free dimming across a 3 to 100% brightness range.
The lamp that is operated with an on / off switch is seen by the Havells Sylvania development team as the range’s key product innovation. Cycling smoothly down, then up again, its level is set with a simple flick of the switch when the desired brightness is reached – this level is then stored for subsequent use until the brightness is reset.
