Heat Electric Radiators
Heating specialists Heat Electric have this month launched an even more energy efficient version of their water filled electric radiator range providing an easy to install, fast acting and highly controllable heating solution for housing association building projects.
The company is enjoying a double celebration after securing an “electric water filled radiator” category in the 2008 update of the SAP 2005 specification, making it easier than ever to calculate a building’s SAP rating when installing the system.
The Heat Electric radiators can improve a building’s SAP rating because of their exceptional controllability which provides time and temperature control for an individual units and for separate designated heating zones and because they can run on the low cost economy 10 tariff.
Improvements to the new range reduce the electrical loading by replacing the existing 1kw, 2kw and 3kw elements with smaller ones. The units draw less electricity and heat up quicker so the radiator is more efficient and more effective by achieving desired result in less time.
Heat Electric is the only British company to take the conventional double panel radiator – currently the most popular form of heating on the market – and evolve it to offer a more flexible, efficient and easy to install form of heating. The radiators are available in 14 sizes with two control options to choose from – the Radio Frequency Control which allows programming of a group of radiators to come one and off together with six different time and temperature settings and the Integrated Timer Control with its 24-hour inbuilt timer to allow time and temperature programming of each individual radiator.
