Hellermann Tyton TIPS System

HellermannTyton has been given the seal of approval from Network Rail for its Thermal Identification Printing System (TIPS) product range. The TIPS system, appropriate markers (TIPTAGS) and printer ribbons have been awarded Parts and Document Systems (PADS) numbers, demonstrating that the products are accepted for use on Network Rail infrastructure. PADS is a list of components aimed at subcontractors so they can use parts that have official approval. This is a highly regarded accreditation, in line with Network Rail’s strict criteria and commitment to only using products of the highest standard. Compared to traditional methods of cable marking which can be labour intensive, the TIPS system saves time and subsequently reduces costs.
