Lighting offers longer lasting and more reliable battery power than ever

Schneider Electric's Thorsman brand has revamped its popular Lightstik site lighting product with Lightstik 2; which now offers longer lasting and more reliable battery power than ever before. The new Lightstik 2 is a compact cordless handlamp which allows contractors to continue working without natural daylight and helping projects stay on track throughout the winter.

It features the new lightweight LI-on technology, which prevents a memory effect on its rechargeable battery, meaning it will always receive 100 per cent charge for a long-lasting solution.

Lightstik 2 is water and oil resistant to IP65 rating, ensuring it withstands very wet and dirty conditions. It features a low self discharge rate, which provides longer shelf life before recharging and incorporates 33 separate bright LED lamps to provide exceptional light output. When fully charged, the handlamp will run for up to five hours.

Colin Fletcher from Schneider Electric explains: "We are committed to providing solutions to help contractors work efficiently and effectively. Lightstik 2 provides a convenient, dependable light source for contractors working in the toughest conditions. This totally revamped product is an example of our dedication to continuously developing and enhancing our products to meet contractors' ever changing needs."

The company has an extensive product range, which encompasses internationally renowned brands and many are moving into the future as one Schneider Electric brand. Products previously known under Thorsman will now be labelled as Schneider Electric, so customers can spot the company's quality, integrated solutions at a glance.
