Firesafe extend the ‘RA Series’ range of residential alarms
Firesafe has extended its Ra Series range of 230V interconnectable, mains powered smoke and heat alarms with the addition of the new FDSODB 9V photoelectric smoke alarm; typically used to detect slow smouldering fires.
Additional features such as battery missing facility gives you additional peace of mind as the unit cannot be installed correctly without the battery in properly in place.
The Hush facility helps cut down on possible false alarms giving you the option to silence the unit for a pre-determined time whilst cooking. The optical chamber also helps reduce possible problems with disposal as ANY Ionisation smoke detector contains small radioactive particles that should be disposed of in a controlled environment. Elegant and compact in design, the unit is quick and easy to install for any electrical contractor.
Only 116mm in diameter with an alarm signal of 85db, the alarm conforms to approvals EN14604:2005 and come complete with a 5 year warranty.
