Voltage indicator proving unit
It is a recommendation of the HSE that voltage indicators should be proved before use and after use.
The portable battery powered proving unit PU260, available from Di-Log, can carry out this check function for all makes of two pole voltage testers up to 690V.
In addition to proving the correct functioning and voltage output of a voltage tester, the PU260 includes a number of unique features that have not been previously found on this type of unit, including continuity test for testing fuses and test leads; additional touch electrode for quick testing of fuse leads; optical and acoustic continuity indication; low battery indication; LED indication of current output in excess of 3.5 mA; and protective rubber holster.
