New NICEIC EICRs

NICEIC has recently released an update that includes the Domestic Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR).

Users of existing Periodic Installation Reports in software can still use them until the end of December 2011, but as of 1st January 2012 it is a requirement of BS7671 to use the new EICRs.

To download the new update, visit NICEIC’s website and in ‘Certification Software’ just click on 'Help', 'Check for updates', and the software will automatically update.

However, there’s no need to wait until next year because the new Electrical Installation Condition Reports can be used now.
