Chorlton High School, based in Manchester, is now home to an array of Dextra LED recessed lighting in the form of the MODLED, which have been used throughout an exciting new project.
A formercourtyard space now boasts a brand new multi-purpose room complete with anumber of continuous run MODLED SUSPENDED luminaires.
The newbuilding makes full use of the luminaire’s countless features, from a robuststeel construction to an impressive light output ratio of up to 85%.
The MODLEDis also available in lumen options of 1750, 2250, 3500 and 4500, boastingadditional flexibility and the ability to deliver attractive lighting solutionswithin a broad range of different environments.
Theluminaires were secured in a continuous run in order to tie in seamlessly withthe rest of the design and was perfectly complimented with numerous Gyro-Lightfittings secured to the outer perimeter of the sloping ceiling.
Offeringrecessed gimbal luminaires both individually or clustered, the Gyro-Lightoffers a perfect solution for accent and display lighting. Each head boasts theability to both pivot and rotate to highlight displays effectively.
The light fittingsare highly robust and able to withstand the demands of busy and challengingenvironments with its toughened glass cover, die cast luminaire heads and steelouter housing painted in black with white surround.
TheGyro-Light also impressively removes any requirement for on site assembly, asit is supplied fully assembled and ready to install. The versatile lightfitting is also available in 1100lm, 2000lm and 3000lm LED variants.
