The Cliff electrical test product range includes leads, probes, sockets, crocodile clips and accessories for OEMs, engineers and technicians and support a wide range of test, design, calibration, repair and installation applications. Cliff offers a very successful total design and manufacturing service for OEM test meter manufacturers including customised branding and labeling if required.
The latest introduction to the Cliff test product range is a new Crocodile Clip rated at 1kV at 20A for connecting test equipment to high voltage systems. The new crocodile clip can be supplied separately or combined with a standard or custom OEM Test Leadset. Cliff’s existing wide range of standard crocodile clips includes types for telecoms and data test applications, including BON and 2mm products.
Other products available include the acclaimed Cliff Quicktest modules which allow efficient and safe, temporary connection of stripped appliance conductors to mains supplies. Modules are available for 240V single-phase or 440V three-phase power sources. Connection of cables to the Quickest takes just a few seconds. Opening the lid automatically isolates the supply, allowing safe insertion of each stripped cable end by pressing the colour-codedcolor-coded piano key cable clamps. Closing the lid completes the circuit between the device being tested and the power. Opening the lid again isolates the supply source so the cable conductors can be rapidly removed.

As Test Leadsets are predominately used by electrical test and safety PAT testers, electrical contractors and test and repair houses Cliff ensures their test lead products are fully rated for all aspects of IEC61010, particularly with regard to voltage and current ratings, creepage distances and cable specification and insulation ratings. All Cliff products are marked with CAT ratings where required. All Cliff test leads use high quality silicone cable with 2 layers of insulation designed so that the white under-layer becomes visible if the outer becomes damaged. This provides a visual alert to the user of a potential safety hazard.
