Videx Audio Apartment Stations
Videx Security has introduced a new range of Eclipse Audio Apartment Stations for use with the highly successful Eclipse video monitors and telephones. These versatile stations can be used with the Videx VX2200 two wire digital system, the 4000 & 800 modular door panel series and vandal resistant door entry panels.
Eclipse Audio Apartment Stations incorporate the aesthetic design features of other Eclipse products with their compact design, low profile surface mount and choice of Carbon Fibre effect, Silver and White finishes that will complement any interior décor. Made from impact resistant ABS plastic, the stations are available in both voice switching hands free and simplex versions.
For easy of installation all wiring connections are made via the back plate. The front of the station simply connects to the back plate with a plug connector and clips into place.
Voice switching Apartment Stations have buttons for “door release”, “call answer”, “privacy” and an “auxiliary”. There are also four LED’s for “call in progress”, “door released”, “privacy on” and “auxiliary”. The privacy is timed and can be programmed using buttons on the front of the station. Buttons are also available for speak and call tone adjustment. The voice switching models can also be switched into simplex mode by simply holding down the speak button. The simplex models have a slide switch for the privacy facility, two levels of call tone and two auxiliary buttons.
The “call answer”, “door release” and “auxiliary” buttons are large and easy to use. Call and speech volume on the voice switching models can also be adjusted using buttons on the face of the station whereas the simplex model has the facility for these inside.
