JCC offers high performance and cost effective LED solutions for commercial applications

JCC Lighting has introduced a selection of commercial LED products as part of its Total LED range. Developed in response to market demand, the Breera, Rakula and Piatra ranges provide a comprehensive lighting solution for a number of commercial applications.

Rakula is a family of recessed LED downlights available in three sizes and wattages. Offering a high output performance, Rakula are perfectly suited for a range of commercial applications including offices, reception areas and schools. These LED downlights are available in 6.5W, 7.8W or 16.8W with a 50˚ beam angle that gives a uniform, wide light distribution. The nearest equivalent to the 7.8W version is an 18W compact fluorescent and the nearest equivalent to the 16.8W version is a 32W compact fluorescent light source.

Rakula downlights are constructed out of die-cast aluminum and finished in white with a cool white LED (warm white available to order on request). In addition, the 6.5W and 7.8W versions have integral drivers, whereas the 16.8W version comes complete with remote driver.

Another high output commercial downlight in the range is Piatra. This LED downlight is dimmable and available in either cool or warm white with a distinctive 120˚ wide reflector for a wide, even spread of light. A dedicated control dimmer is recommended for use with the Piatra downlight and can run a maximum of ten fittings. The nearest equivalent to the cool white version of the Piatra downlight is an 18W compact fluorescent light source.

The high output of both the Rakula and Piatra LED downlights means that they can be considered as serious contenders when competing with compact fluorescents (CFLs).

To complement these new LED downlights JCC has introduced the Breera range of LED recessed flat panels. This family of high performance LED panels uses ‘edge-lit’ technology, which creates an even light dispersement. There are three sizes in the range; 300 x 300mm, 600 x 600mm and 300 x 1200mm, giving maximum flexibility for a wide range of applications.

Recommended for horizontal installations, Breera panels are very shallow (34mm), making them suitable for low ceiling voids. Breera LED recessed flat panels are available in white LED with an aluminium finish. The nearest equivalent to the 600 x 600 panel is a 3 x 14W T5 fluorescent light source.

Also in the Breera range is the LED linear suspended flat panel. With all the features of the recessed panel, it has the added benefit of being dimmable, complete with a wireless remote dimmer control. This suspended flat panel is available in 300 x 1200mm and finished in silver.
JCC is also leading the way in industrial LED luminaires with launch of the Auzon high bay 80W high output LED high bay. Its 86˚ flood beam angle and crisp white light makes it perfect for high ceiling areas such as atria, retail, warehouse and showroom applications.

Steve Kirby, Commercial Director at JCC said: "The sheer breadth of this new commercial LED range means that JCC is now able to offer more LED lighting solutions than ever before. The low running costs and high performance attributes associated with LEDs means that LED lighting is escalating in popularity and, as the technology develops, end users will increasingly turn to this form of lighting as a viable alternative. Including these latest additions in our Total LED™ range, represents excellent choice and performance for our customers and continues to position JCC at the forefront of lighting innovation".

LEDs can offer up to 85% energy savings and can last many times longer than conventional light sources so they cut down on energy and maintenance costs as well as helping reduce CO2 emissions.
